How do I use a promo code?

How do I enter the promotion (promo) code?

1. Visit duolingo.com/redeem in a web browser (on a phone, tablet, or computer)
2. Enter your promo code and click “Redeem”
3. If you’re recognized as an eligible user, click “Claim offer”
4. Log in if you have a Duolingo account, or if you don’t, create an account
5. Select a monthly, annual, or family Super Duolingo plan for after your free trial ends
6. Submit your credit card information (you will only be charged if you continue with Super after your free trial ends)
7. Start learning with Super Duolingo!

What platforms (web, Android, iOS) can accept my promo code?

Currently, you can only redeem the code on a web browser. However, once subscribed to Super Duolingo via your promo code, you can access your Super features across all platforms (iOS/Android app and web).

When does my promo code expire?

The expiration date will be specified when you receive your promotion code. If your promo code has expired, you cannot claim it.

If my promo code isn’t working, what can I do?

• If the code was entered incorrectly, try re-entering the code
• If you are not logged in to your Duolingo account, you’ll need to log in or create an account
• If you are in a Duolingo classroom, you can leave the classroom, then re-enter the promo code

Or, you may be ineligible for the promo code:

• The code is no longer eligible (i.e. expired or already claimed)
• You are already actively subscribed to Super Duolingo
• You are under 13 years of age

I’m already subscribed to Super Duolingo. Can I use this promo code for my existing subscription?

No. A promo code cannot be used on active subscriptions.

What happens if I don’t cancel my extended free trial?

If you do not cancel your extended free trial, Duolingo will start your subscription and you will be billed to the payment method originally entered during checkout.

Will the subscription auto-renew?

All subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel them.
