# Detroit, MI

We found an incredible [motion design studio](https://techcrunch.com/2024/07/09/duolingo-acquires-detroit-based-design-studio-hobbes/?guccounter=1) and a top [animation studio](https://investors.duolingo.com/news-releases/news-release-details/duolingo-acquires-gunner-accelerate-product-brand-development), and we were such a match that we decided to combine forces with both of them to create a Duolingo Detroit office.

**Some of our favorites:**

- [Have a 1:1 at Cafe Prince](https://thecafeprince.com/)
- [Cheer on the Detroit Red Wings downtown](https://www.nhl.com/redwings/)
- [Visit the Detroit Institute of the Arts](https://dia.org/)
